01Final list

The leading AIs each built their own list of ten independently. Here is one result that is easy to check: every place has a reason, a source, and the list of AIs that included it.

Order: from most to least AI agreement.

A bright badge means this AI put the entry on its list. A dim badge means it did not.

  1. 1

    Gen.G

No. 1 in the market at about 41%, but No. 2 on Riot's board, two points behind HLE. They are 3-0 after a 2-1 best-of-three win over LYON.

Included it: Claude, Meta, Grok, MiMo, Kimi, DeepSeek, Z.ai, Qwen. Did not include: ChatGPT, Nemotron, Wenxin.

    In their lists: Claude: 1 · Meta: 1 · Grok: 1 · MiMo: 1 · Kimi: 1 · DeepSeek: 1 · Z.ai: 1 · Qwen: 1

    What each AI noted 8
    • Claudeplace 1

Priced at 41% to win, about 2.5 times the next team, yet only second in the form proxy: the market trusts them more than the ratings do.

      Source ↗
    • Metaplace 1

41% Polymarket leader from GPR 2nd (1,519 pts) – first to 3-0 with Bo3 win over LYON

    • Grokplace 1

41 cents to win Worlds, and only two Riot points behind the team the market has already marked down.

      Source ↗
    • MiMoplace 1

Riotcalls them No. 2 by two points; the market calls them No. 1 at double anyone else's price — and they are already through at 3-0.

      Source ↗
    • Kimiplace 1

Riot has them 2nd by two points, but the market made them the 38% champion before Sunday and they finished the job 3-0.

    • DeepSeekplace 1

Riot's No. 2 and the market's No. 1: a 3–0 Swiss and a 34–38% title price make Gen.G the only team both systems agree on at the very top.

    • Z.aiplace 1

The only team top-two on both boards — 40% on Kalshi, 1542 points on Riot's model — and 3-0 through a Swiss bracket that has already eliminated nobody quietly.

      Source ↗
    • Qwenplace 1

Ranked #2 in power but owns the #1 market price at 33.5%, reflecting their pristine 3-0 Swiss start and deep BO5 pedigree.

  2. 2

    Hanwha Life Esports (HLE)

Riot's No. 1 at 1,544 but only 10.5¢ in the market, down from about 20% on Saturday. Best-of-one losses to Gen.G and IG leave them 1-2.

Included it: Claude, Meta, Grok, MiMo, Kimi, DeepSeek, Z.ai, Qwen. Did not include: ChatGPT, Nemotron, Wenxin.

    In their lists: Claude: 2 · Meta: 2 · Grok: 5 · MiMo: 2 · Kimi: 4 · DeepSeek: 3 · Z.ai: 5 · Qwen: 2

    What each AI noted 8
    • Claudeplace 2

First in the form proxy as MSI champions, but the market puts them fourth or fifth at 11%, so the ratings favour them more than the market does.

      Source ↗
    • Metaplace 2

Riot's #1 at 1,540 pts but market slips to 18% after 1-2 Swiss with Bo1 upset to IG

      Source ↗
    • Grokplace 5

Riot's No. 1 at 1,544 points, then 10.5 cents and 1-2 after two single games.

    • MiMoplace 2

The only team Riot ranks No. 1 (1,544 pts) that the market prices third at 12–17.5¢ — and they arrive there with a 1-2 Swiss record.

      Source ↗
    • Kimiplace 4

Riot’s No. 1 is now 1-2: two Swiss losses, one to Gen.G and one to IG, yet the market had not fully dumped them.

    • DeepSeekplace 3

Riot's No. 1 at 1,540 points is only the market's No. 3–4 at about 17% after an 0–2 week against Gen.G and Invictus Gaming.

    • Z.aiplace 5

Riot's model crowns them No.1 at 1544 points — the scoreboard says 1-2, all in Bo1s, and Kalshi's board has dipped to 12%.

    • Qwenplace 2

The consensus #1 power-ranked team trades at just 17.5% to win, a market discount driven by Gen.G's heavier global betting volume.

  3. 3

    T1

Second in the market at 16¢ but fifth on Riot's board (1,470). That is a three-place brand premium on a 1-1 record that includes a best-of-one loss to Dplus KIA.

    • Z.aiplace 2

Riot's model ranks them seventh; the market says 13¢, third-best — and they swept Movistar KOI 2-0 in a Bo3 to qualify 3-0 without dropping a series.

4What we looked at

  • Compare each team’s Riot Global Power Ranking with its implied chance of winning Worlds in the live market, including each team’s rank in both and the gap.
  • Use the October 25 Swiss record as context for interpreting the gap, not as a separate ranking.
  • Riot Games LoL Esports Global Power Rankings — Tier 1 team-strength points from performance, match context, recency, in-game execution, opponent strength and regional strength. The Oct 25 early-mornin

The leading AIs, each building its own list of ten independently and naming a source for every place: Claude, ChatGPT, Meta, Grok, Nemotron, MiMo, Kimi, DeepSeek, Wenxin, Z.ai, Qwen.

6How the places were set

The same entry written differently by different AIs was counted as one. The more AIs put an entry on their list, and the higher they put it, the higher its place. What Claude noticed

Hanwha Life is first in the form proxy but about fourth in the market, while T1 and Dplus KIA are each ranked four places better by the market than by the ratings.

The sources do not agree on Gen.G's price. Polymarket shows 41% in its outcome list and 38.5% in its summary, Kalshi shows 39%, the sportsbook price implies about 31%, and the Outdrafted model gives 49%.

Swiss Rounds 1 and 2 were best-of-one, which is a small sample: all four LPL teams lost Round 1, and Karmine Corp and Movistar KOI beat the LPL's top two teams. Under the Swiss format a 3-0 record is worth less as evidence of strength than a best-of-five result would be.

The knockouts are best-of-five, from the quarterfinals in Allen on Nov 3-8 to the final on Nov 14 in Brooklyn. A market built on best-of-one results may be weighting records that will matter less at that stage.

What Kimi noticed

The cleanest disagreement is Hanwha: Riot’s #1 at 1544 points sits 1-2, while Gen.G’s #2 rating has already produced a 3-0 qualification run.

Format matters: Rounds 1-2 were Bo1, while the 2-0 and 0-2 Round 3 matches are Bo3, so Gen.G and Dplus KIA’s Sunday qualification is stronger evidence than the early upsets.

Europe’s Round 1 story was overstated in Elo terms: MKOI was #41 vs BLG #4 in the cited Elo table before winning, but Sunday’s 0-2 loss to Dplus KIA pulled the signal back toward LCK strength.
