Carriers sold out more slowly than Apple. On order morning T-Mobile quoted late October, AT&T Nov 9 and Verizon Nov 14, while Walmart showed Oct 27 for one T-Mobile unit.
Storage size decided the wait at the same store: Best Buy listed Nov 10 for 512GB and 1TB but Dec 14 for 256GB and 2TB.
AT&T's $1,200 credit needs Premium 2.0, which starts at $100 a month. For someone not already on it, an extra $30 a month for 36 months is $1,080, almost the whole credit.
